Job Summary

A large global manufacturing solutions provider based just outside of St. Petersburg, FL is looking for an Electromechanical Assembler/Installer for a 3-6 month contract position.

Qualified Candidates Must Have The Following Skills

• Assembly of circuit boards
• Built harnesses and followed all IPC guidelines
• Performed complex wiring, soldering is a plus.
• Built harnesses of high complexity which included termination of various multiple connectors and cables
• Regularly employed extensive knowledge of electrical theory and its application to wiring and testing using various meters
• Performed manual assembly calculations with high degree of accuracy.

  Responsibilities
  
  • Under minimum supervision, performed a wide variety of mechanical and/or electronic, electro-mechanical assembly operations of a skilled nature to build up and assemble difficult and complex units such as power supplies, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, electronic systems, and subassemblies.
  • Assembly of subassemblies and final assemblies by reading and interpreting Bill of Materials, complex wiring diagrams, color codes, schematics, and wire lists.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, and test units as required utilization conventional tool such screwdriver and/or torque driver with several attachments.
  • Proficient with all hand tools, mechanical inspection equipment such as calipers and indicators and electrical test equipment such as multimeters.
