Job FamilyIT OperationsJob Description SummaryGlobal Technology Service (GTS) provides IT infrastructure and application support services to the Aegon businesses. GTS is responsible for the provision, support and ongoing maintenance of IT operating platforms, applications and services. There is also a strong connection with external providers necessitating vendor and service provider management. GTS is responsible for driving the technology strategy and providing IT infrastructure solutions that are in alignment with business objectives and the GTS technology strategy.The IT Service Configuration Analyst is responsible to ensure that accurate and reliable information about the configuration of services, and the CIs that support them, are available when and where it is needed. This includes information on how CIs are configured and the relationships between them.To achieve this goal the IT Service Configuration Analyst need to work closely with their stakeholders, local IT-, global IT business partners, security-, risk-, audit-, and compliance departments, in developing a global vision and executing the strategyJob DescriptionResponsibilitiesLead the collection and analysis of requirements to develop technology strategies.Participate in delivery of new technologies as a leader or major participant.Lead the effort of documenting, and implementing standards.Provide consulting advice and guidance to customers and other GTS teams across several technologies.Serve as the escalation point involving potential troubleshooting and problem resolution assistance.QualificationsBachelor---s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experienceEight years of relevant work experienceHands-on experience; knows the details of discovery, reporting, service mapping, CI---s, relationships and attributes.Certification and experience at the level of ITIL Configuration Practitioner would be desirableStrong breadth of knowledge across technology disciplinesAbility to convert complex information into simple, explainable solutionsUnderstanding of current and future business needs met by infrastructure platformsResults-driven with a bias towards practical applicationsPossess a planning orientation with integrative and strategic thinking skillsAbility to quickly learn and apply new conceptsAbility to drive and achieve consensus/support from large diverse groups Strong written and verbal communication skills to enable effective articulation of strategyProject management and client relationship skills with large and diverse projects/groupsAbility to lead teams and large projects is requiredExperience of ServiceNowPreferred QualificationsCertifications in relevant technologies, methods, or platformsBehavioral & Leadership CompetenciesAnalytical SkillsAttention to DetailCommitmentCommunication SkillsCritical Thinking AbilityCustomer FocusDiversity FocusOur CultureAt Aegon we promote a Future Fit mindset. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
