This role is set to start on Monday, November 4th, 2019 at our St.
Petersburg, FL Transamerica location.
We will be accepting applications through Wednesday, October 16th,
What You Will do: As the voice of the company, you will be the
first point of care, service and support for Transamerica customers
(participants in our retirement and life insurance plans). You will
provide thoughtful solutions to a wide range of inquiries over the
phone, from our call center setting. You will feel empowered to
provide answers and make good decisions based on the needs of our
customers. You will support our current business practices by
providing complete and accurate information, regarding retirement
and life insurance products, while focusing on customer

stepping into your role as a representative of Transamerica. You
will be working with a team of ambitious and engaged professionals,
who bring fresh ideas and diverse perspectives, to help us
continually shake up the status quo, and stay on the forefront of
re-inventing how we meet our customers needs.
What Success Looks Like:
-Use exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to
answer inbound calls and find solutions to questions or concerns
regarding retirement and financial services products.
-Learn and maintain a thorough understanding of products,
procedures and systems.
-Identify customer needs and provide personalized service to ensure
positive and meaningful outcomes; engage more knowledgeable team
members as needed and leave customers with a high quality
-Locate/research information using multiple systems, applications
-Coordinate with cross-functional departments to obtain and/or
provide necessary information to resolve issues.
-Document customer inquiries and associated actions; follow-up on
outstanding items in a timely manner.
-Participate in a positive, team based environment and uphold a
respectful, professional company culture to support achieving
-Achieve department metrics and expectations.
- Associates degree in a business field OR equivalent
- One year of call center or customer service experience, OR
financial services industry experience
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner,
orally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency using MS Office tools
- Understanding of retirement, life, and annuity investment
- Office/call center environment
- May work varied shifts
