Job Description:
A company is looking for an Inside Underwriter to support a team
by arranging appropriate insurance coverage for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the underwriting process in accordance with carrier
guidelines and company policies
Submit information to brokerage markets for accounts outside of
binding authority
Develop and maintain relationships with binding-authority and
brokerage carriers while negotiating terms and coverages
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or relevant insurance designation
Three years of experience in underwriting or brokering E&S or
specialty insurance products
Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
Ability to manage the underwriting process and analyze insurance
policies
Strong knowledge of the types of accounts handled by the team
