Job Description:
A company is looking for an Appeals and Denials Claims
Specialist to work in a remote-based role.
Key Responsibilities
Review and research insurance claims to determine possible payment
sources
Coordinate with payors to ensure appropriate filing guidelines are
met for reimbursement
Perform follow-up on unresolved claims and assist in submitting
appeals for denied claims
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
1-2 years of related experience in the healthcare field or a
related area preferred
Required computer skills including data entry and knowledge of MS
Office applications
Remote positions require a home internet connection that meets
specific criteria
