Hiring Company: Delicatessen Services Co., LLCOverview:Under the direction of the Director of Customer Experience, the candidate will serve as eLearning specialist for the Training Design and Development team. The eLearning Specialist is responsible for the design, development, deployment and maintenance of a catalogue of training materials designed to support our end-users.Job Description: Essential Functions: Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to design, develop and deploy interactive eLearning solutionsWrite scripts, apply graphic design skills, program user interactions, record software simulations, demonstrations, voiceovers, and create all applicable multimedia products to develop eLearning solutionsManipulate and edit digital imagery, video and soundCreate images and animations and develop graphics that identify a concept or convey a messageEdit and review existing eLearning solutions to keep them current and relevantProactively seek eLearning end-user feedback, and edit materials accordinglyQC the courses and verify every aspect of the learning material works: navigation, spelling, interactions, etc.Upload to our Learning Management System (LMS) and test it to ensure the course meets requirements to pass to productionPost-production technical assistance to troubleshoot issues, should they occurRemain current with technology tools and trends in Digital Learning Qualifications: Top 3 skill-sets: eLearning design and development, multimedia design, graphic designAdvanced knowledge and skills on the technical tools and platforms required to achieve the delivery of engaging and media-rich online learning content and of trends in the use and effectiveness of educational technology and learning; skilled in the efficient use of common instructional authoring toolsAdvanced proficiency and proven experience in eLearning design and development, with a portfolio that highlights a diverse breadth of eLearning course development projectsMastery in visual design and usability for eLearning and other types of digital learningAbility to independently design and author complex and high-quality instructional content, aligning learning outcomes with course content design guidelines provided by the instructional designerAbility to perform multiple, diverse assignments simultaneously while working independently to assure accurate and timely completion of assignments, keeping supervisor advised of progress and problemsThorough technical skills in computer applications for web production, image handling, publishing and design, illustration, presentation preparation, video authoring and editing, audio recording and editing, animation and/or other state-of-the-art web communication capabilitiesExpertise in Learning Management SystemsAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical clients and to summarize complex concepts in a logically structured, easy to understand mannerHigh attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal skillsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility and desire to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities and projects change frequentlyKnowledge of the food industry (preferred)Bachelor's degree in multimedia design, graphic design, or web design and development.2+ years of demonstrated experience as an eLearning developer#LI-CF1Location:Sarasota, FLTime Type:Full timeDepartment:Customer Experience and Insights
