Job Description:
The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for
sales of Healthlink Advisors services. This position will be
responsible for sourcing, developing, and closing opportunities for
both new and add-on engagements. Travel is expected and required to
fulfill the requirements of this role.Specific
Responsibilities:
- Sell and market Healthlink Advisors services to the healthcare
market.
- Seek out and source new contacts and clients by developing
networks and independently identifying and developing relationships
that lead to new and add-on business.
- Responsible for the initial definition of engagement
deliverables, budgets, and target dates. The BDE will work with the
SVP of Consulting Services to identify the staffing needs of
prospective engagements.
- Collaborate with members of the Healthlink Advisors team to
ensure an excellent client experience across all client
interactions from sales through delivery and follow-up.
- Execute various outreach strategies, initiate ideas for
campaigns in collaboration with COO and service line leaders, and
support the culture of developing long-term relationships with
Healthlink Advisors clients.
- Manage personal business development process activity
(including the use of Deltek CRM and sales tracking).
- Collaborate with service line leadership on new offerings and
services based on market intelligence and market demands.
- Perform regular site visits to prospective and existing clients
to identify engagement opportunities and to develop client
goodwill.
- Attend conferences and other industry trade shows as required
to promote the Healthlink Advisors brand.
- Be responsible for attaining sales targets. -QUALIFICATIONSTo
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

- Willingness to travelEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's
Degree and a minimum of 10 years of professional work experience in
healthcare sales, sales in professional services, sales to
executive leaders, and client relationship management.COMMUNICATION
SKILLSExceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability
to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability
to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or
complaints. Ability to write presentations and articles using
original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to have
effective and persuasive oral communication and presentations on
controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups,
