Student Loan Repayment. We would love to talk to you about this
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs patient registration duties including
but not limited to the collection of patient demographic
information, data entry, and the coordination of patient consent
forms. Handles routine patient inquiries or issues, and works
closely with other departments and physician offices.
Performs basic clerical duties including data entry, filing,
faxing, preparing documents, sorting and distributing mail, and
operating office equipment. Assists patients with questions
regarding hospitals bills and processes payments.
Answer Multi line phones, take patient inquiries and set
appointments, check and verify insurance , data entry into Meditech
the new patient information, greet new patients and generate from
computer the new patient paperwork to be signed - scanner use to
upload insurance cards and also consent forms. - create new charts
. Greet patients and enter their data into computer - asking all
the questions at registration (full registration of a patient)
Breaking down charts of discharged patients and taking to HIM.
Using an EMR system to schedule appointments in an electronic
calendar using a formulary
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
One year previous experience in a doctors office or surgery
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal
communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written
instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC
skills/Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc.
