IT Partner to HR, Payroll, and select Finance business partners such as Accounting, Accounts Payable and general user-facing system administration. Accountable for implementations in the Oracle ERP/HCM system (Oracle E-Business Suite). In the respective business process and application domains, Manager is responsible for leading, growing, and sustaining a mature, Agile-enabled Oracle E-Business Suite Center of Excellence. Directly supervises Business Systems Analysts and Business Analysts.

  • Partner with Business and IT leaders to understand the prioritized needs of the Paychex stakeholders, then provide leadership and resources in support of the delivery and support for scalable, sustainable, stable, and effective software solutions
  • Lead a team of professionals responsible for application demonstration, development and support for business process automation enabled by the Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Provide management, coaching, evaluation, and feedback to employees
  • Foster an empowered Agile team environment designed to attract and retain professional talent that is driven to deliver and support reliable and scalable business applications
  • Understand, navigate, and advocate the various processes and systems that are essential for day to day planning and execution (e.g., ServiceNow, Confluence, Jira, OneDrive, MS Office, Outlook, Webex Teams, HP PPM)
  • Ensure teams are supported by appropriate tools, resources, and direction in order to achieve sustained success
  • Plan and lead efforts to continuously improve both business and IT projects and processes (e.g. repeatability, transparency, scale, and velocity)
  • Work with vendors, recruiters, and other outside agencies as needed to negotiate, procure, monitor, and manage the technical and human resources needed to ensure successful operation of the Oracle Center of Excellence
  • Support internal and external control and audit processes for business and IT

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business Management, or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of experience in IT, Project Management, or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of experience in Management
  • 6 years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite administration and configuration preferred
  • 2 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud administration and configuration preferred
