The Endo Tech assists with endoscopic procedures by performing
transporter duties, obtaining supplies, equipment and
instrumentation as needed. They also perform cleaning of equipment
and scopes following hospital/department policies and procedures
and assist the physician during endoscopic procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Vocational or
technical education preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years as an Endoscopy Technician
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal
communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written
instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
