As the Site Merchandiser you will execute the strategies that lead to achievement of sales objectives on assigned Footlocker.com e-commerce site(s). You will contribute to achieving objectives by planning & publishing website content and help with the successful rollout of various online marketing programs. If you are a marketing professional with experience in an internet retail environment, and an instinct for providing on-line shoppers with the products and presentation they desire, then this might be the right opportunity for you with a growing digital ecommerce team!

Responsibilities

  • Maintain site integrity by performing daily refreshes of content including monitoring and site auditing for accuracy and deploys to production environment.
  • Develop and execute digital content plans in collaboration with Digital Account Managers, Category Managers, Purchasing, Performance Marketing, etc. to ensure website content and promotional efforts achieve sales objectives, and are in line with the brand, catalog, brick & mortar merchandising, external site partners and other marketing and advertising initiatives.
  • Analyzes session and sales data daily to optimize the customer experience, site refinements, linking and onsite search.
  • Review opportunities and suggests ways to improve conversion rate and drive revenue growth across product categories and top traffic pages.
  • Drive awareness of new navigation categories and products based on seasonality and trends.
  • Request and coordinate digital content needs with Graphic Designers and Copywriters.
  • Ensure high image quality as well as asset specifications are met to optimize page speed and meet brand standards.
  • Work necessary off-hours including occasional weekends and holidays to support the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred.

  • Minimum of two years of internet marketing, ecommerce, or merchandising experience in a comparable internet retail environment.
  • Beginner to Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud is preferred.
  • Willingness to be adaptable, flexible and want to work in a fast paced, cross collaborative environment.
