The Data Governance Architect (DGA) will be responsible for the implementation and management of PSCU's Enterprise Data Governance activities. The DGA will be responsible for the continuous improvement of data quality and governance strategy for the full data life cycle across the enterprise data ecosystem. This position will ensure compliance with the Enterprise Data Governance framework by defining processes, practices, and policies related to access, sharing, and usage, to ensure the integrity and usefulness of data assets by supporting consistent definition, documentation, and appropriate use.

The DGA will serve as a dedicated data governance leader, evangelist, and point of escalation. The position will build and deliver specialized training to various stakeholder groups to improve the quality and value of data assets. This member of the Enterprise Data Architecture team will interact with stakeholders throughout PSCU and will collaborate with all lines of business and Information Technology to monitor activities and ensure data conforms to standards.

Role Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in data governance concepts, practices, and technologies and ability to translate among languages used by the executive, business, and IT stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with configuration changes of Data Governance Tools such as Informatica EDC, Axon, IDQ, Advanced Scanners
  • Monitor, control, update, and coordinate changes to existing projects while summarizing and presenting project status information and producing effective management reports, as needed.
  • Build and maintain a repository of project artifacts using SharePoint or Jira and other document management solutions.
  • Interface with cross-functional groups to communicate and ensure successful project deliverables and lead expectations responsibly.
  • Ensures continuity of services by serving as a subject matter expert on the technology solutions and impact of changes to PSCU-developed software applications.
  • Responsible for Data Governance activities, for both onshore and offshore team members.
  • Will work closely with the Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Technology Leads, to assist with project planning and scope management.
  • Ability to lead department initiatives with limited supervision.
  • Collaborate with other technology teams to ensure required templates are completed and Data Governance Tools (EDC and AXON) updated on time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Eight (8) years of relevant work experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, and logical/physical model design required.
  • Understanding of ETL development, cleansing strategies, data structures, data quality, OLAP solution and implementation, and report creation required.
  • This position will specifically focus on enterprise initiatives supporting data integrity and data quality


  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Master's degree preferred
