Material Prep Operator- Night Shift
The Material Prep Operator reports to the Production
St. Petersburg is our primary soft gel development and
manufacturing facility in North America with capacity of 18 billion
capsules per year. Within the Catalent network, we offer a broad
range of integrated formulation and analytical services to solve
difficult development and manufacturing challenges.
The Manufacturing Department provides a cGMP compliant
manufacturing process and continuously improve the pharmaceutical
manufacturing environment at Catalent St. Petersburg. Create a

The Material Prep Operator Under supervision, prepares, blends
and mixes batches of material by operating blending equipment and
completing batch paperwork according to Standard Operating
Procedures and applying current Good Manufacturing Practices

This is a 12- Hour Night Shift Position, working hours: 7:00 PM-
7:00 AM. (rotating between working 36 hours in one week and 48
hours in the following week).
The Role (daily responsibilities)
- Accurately completes documentation related to the Material
- Measures and weighs, by manual and computerized scales,
ingredients used in material batches.
- Operates equipment to mixes material batches.
- Washes, inspects and sanitizes material receivers and

- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous manufacturing experience and work in a GMP regulated
- Basic computer skills including Windows navigation and data
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and combine units of
measure. Ability to calculate fractions and decimals.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure
- Individual may be required to sit intermittently, stand
regularly, walk regularly and consistently lift 0-30 pounds for a
work period of up to 12-hours.
