Leadership & Organization Development Summer Internship Duration:
June 7 - August 20, 2021 Internship will be almost entirely remote,
but intern may be required to attend meetings or events on site in
St. Petersburg, FL If selected, interviewing starts January 4, 2021
About the Leadership & Organization Development Team The Leadership
& Organization Development team clarifies strategies; develops
roadmaps, frameworks, tools, and resources; facilitates initiatives
related to leadership and organization development, succession
management, change management, and coaching; and consults with
internal business customers to address particular business needs.
The team consists of several workgroups, each with a specific
mission: Leadership Development (LD) - The intern will be assigned
to work primarily with this function, but also support the other
functions as needed. This function is responsible for clarifying LD
vision, mission, and strategies; developing roadmaps and
frameworks; developing and/or curating leadership development
programs; facilitating leadership development programs; and
consulting with the business related to leadership development
needs. Succession Management (SM) - This function is responsible
for designing and improving the organization's succession
management processes, tools, and resources. The function also
facilitates succession management sessions and captures key
organizational information related to succession management.
Organization Development (OD) - This function works with the
business to understand business opportunities, challenges, and
needs; clarifies and co-creates/designs OD solutions with business
partners to address these scenarios; and works with business
leaders to implement, monitor, and improve solutions and monitor
and improve key outcomes and results. Organizational Change
Management (OCM) - OCM seeks to understand broader opportunities,
challenges, and needs of the business, and work in concert with all
of the other talent functions, and businesses across the enterprise
to ensure that proactive, productive, and needed change happens in
the business, and is sustainable, yet flexible to evolve with the
business. Leadership & Organization Development Internship Goals
and Objectives The purpose of this engagement is to assist with the
growth and transformation of Leadership Development in the
organization through the development of tangible work products for
Leadership Development. The intern may also work with the other
areas of Leadership & Organization Development, as needed. The
responsibilities related to Leadership Development will include:
Designing and/or curating content for leadership development
programs, including design of associated tools, resources, and job
aids Building roadmaps and frameworks needed by the business to
address particular leadership needs, for example, high-potential or
emerging leader development programs Working with partners in other
areas of the Learning and Organization Development arena
(Leadership & OD is part of this broader function) to co-create
and/or operationalize various leadership development programs and
initiatives (for example, working with Learning Architects to
design on-line programs) Our Program When selecting a company for

a junior or senior undergraduate student - with the chance to
develop and hone your skills in business. We offer the opportunity
to build for your future by learning firsthand the Financial and
more specifically Credit Union industry through business acumen
training, coupled with focused learning opportunities in a core
functional specialty. You'll also gain insight into our rich
history, our unique culture, and our committed social conscience.
In this 10-week program, for the first week, you'll engage in
orientation and get a grounding in Credit Unions. For the remaining
time, you'll work in a specific core function in our St. Petersburg
headquarters based on your interests and interview results. In
addition to your daily work, you'll be participating leadership
development sessions and interacting with PSCU's senior leadership
teams. PSCU Intern Program Entry Qualifications Completion of
sophomore or junior year in an accredited undergraduate degree
program with a 3.0/4.0 GPA at time of application. Outstanding
verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
coordinate thoughts, communicate, completely, and concisely.
Strong, organizational, and detail skills, with the ability to
consistently meet deadlines. Strong critical thinking,
problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability
to pivot easily when directions and priorities change on short
notice. Proficiency in MS Office Suite-- with a heavy emphasis on
Excel. Proficiency in software that applies to your major and
function-specific internship. Passion for learning the Credit Union
Industry. Must be able to commute to St. Petersburg when vital
during the program. Being friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic,
with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service. Leadership &
Organization Development Internship Requirements Prefer
undergraduate degree study to be related to one of the following
areas or something similar: Leadership Development,
Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a strong learning and
development focus; Instructional Design, Adult Learning; will also
consider undergrad in another area, with more extensive work
experience in LD program design and implementation, or graduate
study in one of these areas. Current knowledge related to
Leadership Development and curriculum design to be a source of
subject matter expertise Prefer experience designing leadership
development programs to meet business needs Strong writing and
design skills to contribute to the design of job aids and training
