Instructional Design Intern Summer Internship Duration: June 7 - August 20, 2021 Internship will be almost entirely remote, but the intern may be required to attend meetings or events on site in St. Petersburg, FL If selected, interviewing starts January 4, 2021 About the Learning Process & Architecture Team The Learning Process & Architecture team resides in the PSCU Learning and Organizational Development business unit and supports the creation and maintenance of training materials across the organization. Our training deliverables support PSCU employees and our financial institutions. Learning Process & Architecture Internship The Learning Process & Architecture Intern will work side-by-side with Learning Architects to assess training needs, design storyboards, and develop learning objects and materials in industry-leading tools such as Articulate 360, WalkMe, and Microsoft Office products. Key achievements:Analysis: Collect data through interviews, focus groups, surveys, and/or ticket system data. Synthesize the information to establish proficiencies and objectives to meet the needs of the identified audience. Design: Build a storyboard based on identified proficiencies and objectives. Development: Build a training product in a common instructional design tool. Implementation: Publish a product for company use. The PSCU's Summer Internship Program provides you - a junior or senior undergraduate student - with the chance to develop and hone your skills in business. We offer the opportunity to build for your future by learning firsthand the Financial and more specifically Credit Union industry through business acumen training, coupled with focused learning opportunities in a core functional specialty. You'll also gain insight into our rich history, our outstanding culture, and our committed social conscience. In this 10-week program, for the first week, you'll engage in orientation and get a grounding in Credit Unions. For the remaining time, you'll work in a specific core function in our St. Petersburg headquarters based on your interests and interview results. In addition to your daily work, you'll be participating leadership development sessions and interacting with PSCU's senior leadership teams. Intern opportunities exist in: PSCU Intern Program Entry Qualifications Completion of sophomore or junior year in an accredited undergraduate degree program with a 3.0/4.0 GPA at time of application. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate thoughts, communicate, completely, and concisely. Strong, organizational, and detail skills, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to pivot easily when directions and priorities change on short notice. Proficiency in MS Office Suite-- with a heavy emphasis on Excel. Proficiency in software that applies to your major and function-specific internship. Passion for learning the Credit Union Industry. Must be able to commute to St. Petersburg when vital during the program. Being friendly, hardworking, and energetic, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
