Description Leidos' St. Petersburg is responsible for architecting and implementing data fusion engine solutions in support of multi-domain environments. You will get to work with state-of-the art technology and develop and design sophisticated algorithms used to support various CONOPS based upon the need of the customer. Of particular interest is the development of data fusion tracking and correlation systems.You will develop real-time, data fusion/correlation software using the best available tools and modern architectures. You will be part of a team of high performing software engineers through all phases of development. Software is developed under Linux and programmed in C++ but additional development may be programmed in other languages ranging from Java to VHDL. Demonstrate proficiency in physics and mathematics to extend your reach on this team. Travel may be required but will account for less than 10% of the job.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, software development, integration and test, documentation, and maintenance, for complex software system/applications.

• Participate in the design, code and test software to support real time, embedded, software systems
• Ensure that developed code is modifiable, efficient, reliable, and fault tolerant
• Perform integration and test of software on varying hardware platformsBasic Qualifications
  • B.S. in Computer Engineering,or equivalent experience.
  • You must have U.S. Citizenship and be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government granted Secret security clearance. Employment is contingent on receiving an interim Secret security clearance.
  • You must have 4+ years of experience developing software in C++, Java, or related languages.
  • You must have a strong working knowledge of tools and libraries available for the Linux operating system and be familiar with sound software engineering principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with VHDL design, development and Xilinx Vivado is a plus.Preferred Qualifications
    • Advanced degree, continuing education in computer engineering, and/or advanced math/physics background.
    • Multi-Threading, Data analysis, Object-Oriented programming, Model-Driven Development, Performance tuning
    • Experience with Agile development and Atlassian products.
    • Experience using DevSecOps methods (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery) and tools (Gitlab, Conan, Jenkins, Docker).
    • Past experience/familiarity with data fusion/correlation systems.
    • Micro-service architecture/infrastructure/development, Cloud deployment, Kubernetes, Cluster computing..Pay Range:Pay Range $63,050.00 - $97,000.00 - $130,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
