and live their healthiest life. Position Summary Reporting to the
Vice President, Product & Technology, the Sr. Developer is
responsible for working closely with internal and external
stakeholders in developing a robust and compliant software platform
that serves to support RxLive---s Mission, Vision, and Values.
Direct responsibilities include writing code, analyzing data, and
contributing to the design, implementation and successful
functionality of RxLive---s proprietary platform. The Sr. Developer
is a productivity-driven role that requires strong customer
service, communication, and analytic skills with an ability to
multitask in a fast-paced work environment while ensuring strict
deliverable timelines are met. This role will eventually evolve
into a Technology Lead role. Specific Responsibilities Develop,
collaborate, and maintain web-based PHP applications based on best
practices Perform development efforts and enable communication
alongside outsourced development team Identify areas for
improvement for best practices, scalability, and security controls
to align with greater organizational goals Collaborate with Product
Manager and Product Owners during business requirements and
technical specifications Provide architecture and technology
recommendations including in house development and 3rd party
product integrations Perform coding to written technical
specifications. Perform code maintenance and automated unit tests
Adhere to software engineering best practices Hands-on developer
who can work independently and mentor junior developers Other
duties as assigned. Core Competencies Articulate leadership and
exceptional communication skills across all levels of the
organization. Strong ability to work independently with little
oversight while meeting very strict deliverable timelines.
Exceptional ability to see how activities relate to
cross-departmental functions with attention to key detail. Ability
to continuously evaluate operational efficiencies for process
improvement. Excellent understanding of organizational goals to
ensure alignment. Significant attention to detail is key. Advanced
ability to develop and foster trust and long-term relationships.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following
qualifications: Education: A Bachelor---s degree in computer
science or a similar discipline is required. A Masters degree in
computer science or a similar discipline is preferred. Experience:
8 years of experience as a developer 3 years of experience in
people management Prefer full-stack experience Excellent
communication skills A deep understanding of MVC frameworks Deep
experience with PHP Deep experience with SQL Experience with REST
APIs Experience with version control, preferably Git Experience
with Javascript, preferably frameworks-based Constantly strive to
expand knowledge and stay current with new engineering tools
Laravel experience VueJS experience Automated testing experience
(Unit test cases) An understanding or working experience with AWS
platform An understanding of AWS security controls Job Type Full
