Job Description:

Metropolitan Ministries, a cornerstone in the Tampa community, dedicated to alleviating suffering, promoting dignity, and instilling self-sufficiency, is seeking a Director of Pinellas Residential Programs. This leadership role is pivotal in overseeing the development and execution of residential services that provide shelter and support for the homeless and at-risk populations in the Pinellas area. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a profound commitment to social service and a deep understanding of program management, staff leadership, and community engagement. Oversee the daily operations of residential programs in Pinellas, ensuring effective program delivery that aligns with the organization's mission and standards. Develop and implement strategies aimed at improving program outcomes and enhancing the quality of service provision. Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to ensure the sustainability and expansion of services. Lead, coach, and develop a team of program managers and staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and excellence in service. Build and maintain strong relationships with local government, community leaders, donors, and other stakeholders to secure support and resources. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and accreditation requirements. Regularly evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and changing community needs.
