General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking a Recruiter to join our corporate team.As a Recruiter you will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers across multiple locations in the United States to seek out, assess, attract and hire the best talent - both internally and externally. This position requires travel to learn about each of our locations to best support their recruitment needs.We are committed tosupporting the mission ofthe warfighter.Our products can be found with every U.S. military branch and with our allies around the world. Given the nature of our work and our organization's ethos, we value trust, honesty, alignment, and transparency.Whether you're just starting out on your career journey or are an experienced professional, we offer a robust total rewards package that includes healthcare, wellness, retirement, and work/life benefits including a hybrid work option, career development and recognition programs.Perform full cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, obtaining feedback, negotiating offers, and pre-employment paperwork and compliance across multiple business lines and geographies within the United States.Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, develop sourcing and recruitment strategy, and advise on current talent market trends.Utilize resume databases and social media to create recruitment campaigns and source talent.Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards.Develop and maintain professional relationships with university and college placement offices; community organizations; associations; technical school placement offices; and other relevant groups as a source of qualified applicants who are knowledgeable; if not representative; of multi-cultural groups in the United States.Participate in recruiting events to include national and college level career fairs.Maintain current knowledge of the practices; procedures; and processes of recruiting and outreach.Reduce the organization's reliance and spend on third party recruiting agency vendors.Promote positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the hiring process.Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or relevant program.2 or more years of experience in end to end technical recruitment.Effective communication skills with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels within the organization.Experience using direct sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, talent pooling and industry relevant job boards.Experience or ability to quickly learn an applicant tracking system.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns with tight deadlines.Manufacturing industry background is desired but not requried.Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred. English required.Ability to Travel 30-40%.
