Our company has experienced significant growth and is seeking a Corporate Recruiter/HR Generalist to join our team to participate in our continued success and growth. The Corporate Recruiter aspect of this role will be responsible for ensuring that the Company's staffing needs are met in a timely fashion, and in adherence with recruiting standards and best practices. The Corporate Recruiter/HR Generalist will provide the full spectrum of the recruiting strategy from identifying needs and shortlisting candidates to closing successful hires. Corporate Recruiter/Generalist responsibilities include creating and publishing job ads, interviewing candidates and seeking out new candidate sources. To be successful in this role, you must have experience with full-cycle recruitment and great communication skills. Ultimately, you will maintain and improve our employer brand, ensuring that we attract, hire and retain people who contribute to our Company---s growth. The HR Generalist aspect of this position provide HR overall generalist and administrative support for the HOD of Human Resources/HR Department and deliver exceptional internal HR services for the Company at-large on all HR aspects of the employment life-cycle. Responsibilities Corporate Recruiter: Work closely with hiring managers in various departments to define recruitment needs and plan the hiring process Develop and execute recruiting strategies that ensures diversity in our applicant pool and Team Member population. Track recruitment KPIs, such as time to hire, source of hire and time to fill Manage all communication with candidates from the moment they apply until they get onboard Conduct recruiting intake conversations with hiring managers to gain a thorough understanding of the requirements of open positions. Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks, referrals and other sources. Interview candidates at various stages of the hiring process (phone screening calls, video interviews and in-person meetings) Use skill assessment tools and tests to screen candidates when/if applicable. Oversee internal and external communication, making sure that our company maintains a positive reputation as an employer (for example on Glassdoor, LinkedIn and social media) Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates Provide all other recruiting duties as assigned by the HOD of Human Resources and/or the Executive Team. HR Generalist: Administer all new hire onboarding functions, such as pre-employment screening (including E-Verify), guiding hiring managers and new hires on the onboarding process, distributing and collection all new hire documentation, coordinating provision of computer equipment/IT needs with external IT vendor, conducting new hire orientation. Maintain Team Member hard-copy and electronic personnel files. Administer full employment lifecycle data changes in the PEO HRMS platform. Develop and deliver accurate key HR reports prior to deadlines as required by Federal contracts to appropriate agencies, such as VETS-4212, EEO-1, etc. Work closely with PEO provider as needed to meet the needs and inquiries of all internal customers. Assist with annual benefits open enrollment. Train and provide guidance to all internal customers on HR processes and procedures. Assist with all team member relations matters; from general inquiries to successfully handling team member complaints/mediation. Conduct internal training seminars on multiple topics including, but not limited to, employee benefits, HR processes, policies, etc. Serve as first point of contact for all general HR related inquiries for internal customers. Exercise proper independent discretion and judgement when handling such inquiries, including when escalation to the HOD of HR is necessary. Provide input and ideas to HOD of HR on HR Departmental process improvements. Frequently walk the manufacturing shop floor to ensure HR's visibility with and accessibility to all Team Members. This will also be an opportunity to engage with Team Members and promote positive team relations objective. Provide all other HR generalist duties as assigned by the HOD of Human Resources and/or the Executive Team. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 3 - years work experience in a corporate recruiting role and HR assistant/generalist role, preferably in the manufacturing industry for multiple locations for both exempt and non-exempt positions. Ability to meet or exceed the demands of a high volume recruiting environment. General mediation and conflict resolution skills Customer service skills and ability to earn the confidence and trust or internal customers General core knowledge of local, state and federal employment regulations and laws, including but not limited to: Title VII, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, COBRA, etc. Standard HR departmental processes and procedures Familiarity and experience with full cycle recruitment Public speaking and presentation skills. Ability to maintain confidential information. Hands-on experience with recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques (video or panel interviews) Strong experience and success with social media recruiting Exceptional communication and listening skills. Other: Minimum AA/AS degree from an accredited college/university in liberal arts, human resources, psychology, business, or related major. SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred. 3 years minimum multi-site full-cycle recruiting experience (manufacturing environment preferred). 3 years minimum HR generalist/assistant experience in a fast paced high-growth stage company. (manufacturing environment experience preferred). 3-years experience navigating and utilizing current HRMS/HRIS. Minimum, intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, experience preferred but not required.
