Job Description:
Overview:
The recruiter will provide end-to-end support and expertise to
Recruiting and Outreach team for major federal contracts. Supports
internal operations staff by providing support for recruiting
functions and Outreach support as needed. This includes proactive
recruiting and tracking applicants in applicant tracking system.
-Ability to work in a flexible; evolving organizational structure;
provide assistance on critical needs; and help coordinates
initiatives. Develops new strategies and programs to attract
candidates. Assist in all levels of Outreach activities.
-Initiative; creativity; and strong interpersonal and
organizational skills. Effective communication and writing skills;
including ability to mediate sensitive areas and resolve conflict.
Knowledge of diverse cultures and awareness of cultural nuance a
plus. -
Major Position Responsibilities:
Assist in developing recruitment strategies to achieve required
staffing levels. Develop specific plans for identification and
recruiting of employees.Develop social network relationships to
ensure consistent applicant flow.Meet with HRM to obtain their
input for recruiting and Outreach strategies, and input and
feedback progress of those activities.Develop and maintain
professional relationships with university and college placement
offices; community organizations; associations; technical school
placement offices; and other relevant groups as a source of
qualified applicants who are knowledgeable; if not representative;
of multi-cultural groups in the United States.Investigate plans;
schedule; coordinate; and attend conferences; job/career fairs;
Festivals; etc. with appropriate staff to generate a source of
language qualified applicants.Coordinate recruiting requirements
with outside sources such as job posting web sites and state and
federal agencies.Participate in research and analyzing Outreach and
recruiting statistics; and prepare reports related to these
activities including employment; retention; turnover
statistics.Maintain current knowledge of the practices; procedures;
and processes of recruiting and Outreach.Assist in developing and
conduct training programs for recruiters and managers designed to
improve recruiting; Outreach and hiring efficiencies.Implement and
monitor process improvements.Assist in developing annual Outreach
and recruiting Coordinates recruiting requirements with outside
sources such as job posting web sites and state and federal
agencies.Assist in processing applications-full cycle recruitment
of members.Travel required. -
Basic Qualifications:
Requires BS/BA degree.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources;
Business Administration; or related discipline; or the equivalent
combination of education; professional training; or work
experience. Requires 2-5 years' experience as an end-to-end
recruiter. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking System; iCIMS a
plus.Experience leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter.
