SENSIDYNE is a world-class manufacturer and distributor of gas detection equipment, air monitoring systems, and sound and vibration equipment. We are located in St Petersburg, Florida.JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for administrative support of all service functions for the Company. This includes updating the customer service system and company computer system, and following up with customers and suppliers for service related issues such as approvals, purchase order numbers, expediting, generating and conveying quotations and service reports.This position requires both sitting at a desk, entering data into the computer as well as physically un-boxing of items returned by the customer.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interfaces with customers in a professional manner to issue return material approval, provide product information & pricing, and obtain purchase order or credit card information for payment
  • Processes all equipment returned for service and repair received from the warehouse including logging of returned equipment into the computer system
  • Generates, maintains, and professionally conveys Service Agreements, Quotations, and Service Reports in accordance with the requirements of the Service Manager.
  • Generates purchase requisitions for material as directed by the Service Manager.
  • As directed, calls customers to promote Sensidyne service capabilities and offer service products. Follows up in a professional manner on outstanding returns, purchase orders, and quotations.
  • Assists in collection of payment information for service work
  • Enters into the Companys operating the generation of Sales Orders to process shipments, and invoice the customer.SKILLS:
    • Minimum 2 years prior experience interfacing with internal and external customers, (technical products experience is a plus).
    • Must have ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills and ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels
      • Ability to lift items up to 20 pounds from the floor
      • Typing minimum of 40 wpm
      • Strong command of the English language with fluency in Spanish highly desired.EXPERIENCE:
        • A minimum of 2 years customer service experience required.
        • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
