Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: LTAC/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-5 years License: Florida RN or multi-state compact RN license Certifications: ACLS & BLS certifications required Must-Have: Vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines, preferred wound care experience Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients. This is achieved by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment. Leadership is essential in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care. Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education is required. The Registered Nurse delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
