Job Description:
Join HCA Healthcare as a Registered Nurse in our Progressive
Care Unit (PCU) and be a part of a team that is dedicated to
improving the health and well-being of patients. Our RNs in the PCU
deliver specialized nursing care to patients who are in a critical
condition but stable enough not to require ICU care. This role
requires a dynamic nurse capable of providing a high level of
compassionate care while efficiently coordinating with the
healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Monitor patient
condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care
and advice. Observe and interpret patient's vital signs and
intervene in critical situations. Administer patient medications
and treatments efficiently and safely. Maintain complete and
accurate patient records. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to
devise individualized care plans for patients. Provide support and
education to patients and their families regarding post-hospital
care. Proficient in using healthcare software and systems for
patient management. Able to perform diagnostic tests and analyze
the results. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license required. BLS/ACLS
certified by the American Heart Association or equivalent
certification.
