Job Description & Requirements Emergency Medicine Physician StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $266.75 - $288.75 This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details & requirements for this opportunity: Annual volume: 10,000 Physician shift times: 24 hour coverage; 12 hour shifts Advanced Practice coverage: To be determined Back up specialties available: None; free standing emergency room Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech Certifications required: Board certification, active Florida medical license, Drug Enforcement Administration license, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Facility Location The Tampa Bay major-league baseball, the “Rays”, hold their spring training in Port Charlotte. If you want to see egrets or otters and alligators, this is the place to visit the aquatic preserves, the forests and wildlife refuges.
