Job Description:
Lee Health is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Cardiac
Device Specialist I to join our dynamic team in Southwest Florida.
As a vital member of our healthcare system, you will specialize in
the management and analysis of implantable cardiac devices such as
pacemakers and defibrillators. This role requires a keen
understanding of cardiac device technology, patient care, and data
management to ensure optimal functioning and patient outcomes. You
will work closely with a team of cardiovascular experts in a
technologically advanced setting to deliver high-quality care that
aligns with our commitment to improving community health. Monitor
and program implantable cardiac devices such as pacemakers and
defibrillators. Analyze device data and generate reports for
cardiovascular physicians. Educate patients and their families on
device function, maintenance, and health strategies. Conduct
regular follow-ups with patients to assess device performance and
health status. Maintain accurate records of all device checks and
patient interactions in accordance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to refine patient care plans
based on device data. Stay updated with the latest advancements in
cardiac device technology and healthcare regulations. Strong
proficiency in managing and analyzing implantable cardiac devices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for educating and
interacting with patients. Ability to multitask and manage time
effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills
to interpret complex data from cardiac devices. Medical Insurance
Life Insurance Certification from the International Board of Heart
Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) or
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
