Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a skilled and passionate Dietitian to join our innovative healthcare team. As a leader in integrated healthcare services, we specialize in high-quality, cost-effective care. In this role, you'll work both in our facilities and in home-based settings, designing and implementing nutritional plans that enhance patient recovery and overall health. This is your chance to make a significant impact on the lives of patients across the U.S. by tailoring nutrition plans that cater to each individual’s specific health needs. Assess patient health needs and diet restrictions to develop personalized nutrition plans. Counsel patients on optimal nutrition and healthy eating habits to support their health objectives. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and make adjustments to dietary plans as needed. Educate patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans, and food selection and preparation. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive treatment plan. Maintain detailed records of patients' health progress and dietary programs. Strong understanding of nutrition science and medical nutrition therapy Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to tailor nutrition plans to individual health needs Keen observation skills to assess the health progress of patients Capable of conducting nutritional research and remaining current with dietary strategies Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) as required by state law
