Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Full Time Physical
Therapist to join our dynamic team, dedicated to providing top-tier
healthcare services. In this role, you will work both in
facility-based settings and provide home-based care, ensuring
high-quality, cost-effective therapy tailored to patient needs. You
will assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans, monitor
progress, and maintain records in accordance with industry
standards and our protocol. Evaluate patients’ medical history and
physical condition to determine their therapy needs. Develop and
implement comprehensive treatment plans based on patient
assessments and goals. Document patient care and progress in
accordance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with
healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and occupational
therapists, to maximize patient outcomes. Educate patients and
family members on treatments, therapy exercises, and injury
prevention. Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure compliance
with safety standards. Strong skills in patient assessment and
therapy plan development. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to operate rehabilitation equipment. Proficiency in
electronic medical records and clinical software systems. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state
license to practice physical therapy. Board Certified in Physical
Therapy. CPR certified preferred.
