Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to
join our team of rehabilitation specialists in our inpatient
facilities. Our Physical Therapists play an essential role in
helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of
life following serious illness or injury. This role involves
assessing patient needs, designing therapeutic programs, and
working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the
highest standard of care. Assess patient condition to diagnose
functional impairments. Design and execute individualized treatment
plans that promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore
function, and prevent disability. Evaluate patient progress and
adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide education and
resources to patients and their families for post-treatment
recovery. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and
implement comprehensive patient care. Maintain clinical
documentation and comply with healthcare regulations. Strong
analytical skills to assess patient conditions and interpret
findings. Ability to design and carry out therapy programs
effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with
patients and their families. Proficiency in using physical therapy
tools and equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Valid state Physical Therapist license. American
Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
