Job Description Job Description We are looking for a full-time (32 to 36 hours/week) dental assistant to join our caring team. We are a family practice focused on providing the best treatments possible for our patients. Our ideal candidate will be motivated, positive, outgoing, and possess excellent clinical skills. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patients - Take and develop dental x-rays - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns - Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records - Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - Current CPR certification - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Proficiency in computer software projects - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to multitask 1 year of prior dental assisting experience preferred Skills: General Practice Crown and Bridge Restorations Digital Impressions Digital X-rays Dentrix Benefits: Medical 401k PTO Bonuses Compensation: $20-$28/hour
