Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, a leader in healthcare innovation
and quality care, is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to enhance
our dynamic imaging team. The role involves the operation of
computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce images of patients
internal anatomy that assist in the diagnosis of pathology and
trauma. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling advanced
imaging equipment, demonstrating a commitment to patient care and
technical accuracy. Operate CT imaging equipment to produce quality
images according to physician’s specifications. Administer contrast
dyes and maintain adherence to safety protocols. Assist
radiologists with imaging procedures and offer technical expertise
in CT systems. Maintain patient records and ensure the
confidentiality of all patient information. Collaborate with other
healthcare team members to optimize patient care. Perform routine
maintenance on CT equipment and report any faults or discrepancies.
Educate patients on CT scan procedures and address their concerns
and questions. Proficiency in CT technology and operation of
associated imaging equipment. Ability to handle patient care with
professionalism and empathy. Strong communication and technical
skills. Knowledge of safety and infection control standards.
