Job Description:
HCA Florida Largo Hospital invites new graduates from the Galen
College of Nursing to join our dynamic nursing team through our
esteemed RN Residency program. This program is designed to support
newly licensed nurses as they transition from educational to
practical experience. Set in a technologically advanced medical
environment, this residency offers hands-on experience accompanied
by comprehensive training and mentorship, paving the way for a
robust career in healthcare. Residents will work directly with
seasoned professionals focusing on patient-centered care, adhering
to the highest standards of safety and excellence. Provide
high-quality nursing care in accordance with resident needs,
hospital protocol, and regulatory compliance guidelines.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and evaluate
personalized care plans. Administer medications, monitor patient
vitals, and report changes to the appropriate supervisor or doctor.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health
management. Participate in continuous educational activities to
enhance nursing knowledge and skills. Strong clinical skills and
knowledge based on the most recent nursing practices Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with
patients, families, and colleagues Ability to handle stressful
situations with professionalism and emotional stability Basic
proficiency with medical software and electronic health records
(EHR) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
Florida or a multi-state compact license recognised by the state of
Florida.
