Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated Respiratory
Therapy Supervisor to lead our respiratory care team. This role is
instrumental in providing clinical leadership and expertise in the
field of respiratory care within our diverse and dynamic hospital
environment. The supervisor will manage respiratory services,
ensuring compliance with all health care regulations and standards,
and will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality,
patient-centered care. This position requires an individual
possessing a blend of clinical expertise in respiratory therapy,
leadership skills, and a passion for healthcare innovation. Oversee
the daily operations of the respiratory department and manage a
team of respiratory therapists. Develop and implement policies and
procedures to ensure quality of care and compliance with regulatory
standards. Coordinate and assist in the clinical training of
respiratory therapy staff and students. Monitor and evaluate the
latest developments in respiratory care to incorporate
evidence-based practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
to manage patient care effectively. Ensure equipment functionality
and advocate for the acquisition of new technology. Manage
departmental staffing, including scheduling, hiring, and
performance evaluations. Strong leadership and organizational
skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient
in the use of respiratory care equipment and technology Ability to
manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Knowledge of
respiratory care protocols and healthcare regulations Medical

Current state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
BLS/ACLS certification Membership in the American Association for
Respiratory Care (AARC) is preferred
