Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in delivering exceptional care through facility-based and home-based services. Our Physical Therapists play a pivotal role in helping patients regain their independence and achieve their wellness goals. Our network includes inpatient rehabilitation hospitals along with home health and hospice agencies, offering diverse environments to practice and a variety of patient care situations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulating treatment plans and executing interventions to enhance patient recovery in a supportive and multidisciplinary team setting. Assess patient condition by reviewing medical history, conducting standardized tests and physical examinations. Formulate treatment plans to address deficits and maximize independence. Implement physical therapy interventions as prescribed, adjusting treatments as needed. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and lifestyle adjustments. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. Expertise in physical therapy treatment modalities Ability to manage multiple patient caseloads effectively Strong collaborative skills for working with an interdisciplinary team Excellent patient assessment and clinical reasoning skills Strong communication and educational outreach abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current PT licensure for the practicing state CPR certification
