(CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating
Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is seeking
a skilled Surgical Technologist specializing in Cardiovascular
Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. With a minimum of two years of
experience, the ideal candidate will possess current BLS and NBSTSA
CST certifications and demonstrate proficiency in delivering
high-quality perioperative care in fast-paced surgical settings.
Responsibilities include preparing the operating room for
cardiovascular surgeries, assisting the surgical team throughout
procedures, managing sterile instruments, and ensuring patient
safety at all times. The role requires a commitment to participate
on call two weeknights per week and one weekend per month, with
weekend call duties scheduled for two days each month. Candidates
should also be flexible to float to other areas as appropriate for
their skill set. Qualifications and Desired Experience: At least 2
years of CVOR surgical technologist experience Current Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist
(CST) credential Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical
instruments and techniques Ability to work effectively in a
team-oriented environment Comfortable with on-call responsibilities
and flexible scheduling Location Overview: Clearwater, Florida,
