Job Description:
Coverage Needed January 5, 2026 - Ongoing Monday through Friday,
6:45 AM - 5:00 PM Weekend Coverage: Likely 1 weekend per month
Night Call: Monday through Thursday, 4:30 PM - 7:00 AM Clinical
Details Inpatient surgical cases, pre and postoperative rounding No
clinic/inpatient consults All rounding done with an Advanced
Practice Provider (APP) APP creates progress and consult notes;
surgeon adds and cosigns notes Weekend coverage includes rounding
on all patients with a Physician Assistant (PA), only emergent
cases to the OR, and all new consults Night Call: Surgical PA is
first call for all floor patients CVICU has a Cardiothoracic
Surgery APP in the unit most nights Emergency Room will call the
surgeon if needed Requirements Board Certified Active FL License or
IMLC
