Unlock your potential!Job Summary and Qualifications
  • Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist.
  • American Heart Association BLS health care provider required.
  • ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire. -
    Your duties and responsibilities may include:
    • You will be responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
    • You must be self-directed in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
    • You will maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.
    • You will set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
      This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).Northside Hospital is a 280+ bed facility offering state-of-the-art treatment.
