Summary and QualificationsNuclear Medical Technologist Our Imaging
Teams are a committed, caring group of colleagues. We are seeking a
Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As our new Nuclear
Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic
technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals. You will
perform these procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful
manner. We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring

opportunity.Your tasks and responsibilities may include:
- You will use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body
scans.
- You will prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to
patients in accordance with physicians' orders. You may administer
and record dosages as well.
- Performs diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or
scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce
image of organ on photographic film.
- You will position patients and adjust immobilization
devices.
- You will compassionately explains procedures to patients and
addresses concerns.
- You will monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized
documentation.
- You may assist with transporting patients.Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program
- AART (NM) and/or CNMT Certification
- Current American Heart Association Certification in Basic Life
Support through the American Heart Association
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing,
bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients
and/or equipment up to 50 lbsHCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital is
