St. Pete General is--currently accepting applications--for a full-time Supervisor in our busy Diagnostic Imaging--Department.-- Florida licensure (CRT), ARRT--(CT) and BLS required.----

The Supervisor performs radiographic procedures at a professional and technical level requiring a minimum of supervision under the direction of the radiologists.-- Duties include but are--not limited to:
Demonstrates proficiency in routine diagnostic radiologic procedures including surgical procedures;
Supervises employee duties and their work process daily;
Responsible for maintaining supplies and ensuring equipment functions for departmental operations;
Establishes and maintains good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff;
Assumes administrative responsibility in the absence of the Director.

Within the Diagnostic Imaging Department, Radiology--Technologists perform a variety of technical duties applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology.-- They also regulate the equipment used to expose, develop and organize X-ray films, operate equipment safely and maintain A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of procedures.
Qualifications

• 
  
• 
  Associate degree from an AMA-approved school
  
  
• Must have current ARRT (R) and (CT)
  
• Florida license required (CRT)
  
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  
• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
  
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
