The--Nurse Extern--performs a
variety of delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing
functions and activities of daily living under the supervision of the
registered nurse (RN) in a complementary and assistive role.--

Skills:

• Reads and writes Basic English
  with the basic skills necessary to transcribe physician's orders
• Ability to listen, empathize
  and respond to patient, family, internal and external partners needs
• Basic computer skills
• Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with
  frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

  Qualifications
  Job requirements:
  
• Currently
  enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support from
  the American Heart Association
• 1+
  years of nursing school completed preferred
