ST. PETERSBURG HOME HEALTH CARE Provides Services in Tampa, FL. POSITION SUMMARY The home health aide is a paraprofessional member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the patient's needs. The home health aide is responsible for observing patients, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed. The home health aide will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of a patient's care. JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. A minimum of 75 hour Nursing Assistant training or preferably has obtained Nursing Assistant Certificate. 2. Valid CNA license to practice in FL. 3. At least 6 months experience in CNA care preferably in home health. 4. Must have current and valid Florida State driver's license, auto liability insurance, and ability to provide own transportation for home visits. 5. Motor vehicle record must be acceptable to BSSPHC insurers and meet BSSPHC policy standards.
