Description: Kaiser Permanente Northern California Doctoral Internships in Clinical Psychology offer a total of 13 one-year positions at three training sites in Northern California. Internships are designed to provide 2000 hours of supervised clinical training. Positions are 40 hours per week, temporary with benefits. Interns are provided with two hours per week in each of the following activities: individual supervision; group supervision; and didactic training. All interns are under the direct supervision of licensed psychologists. Responsibilities and Requirements: Provide assessment and psychotherapy of adults, adolescents, children and/or families in a brief therapy model. Conduct intake evaluations. Provide crisis intervention as needed. Co-facilitate psycho-educational groups. Conduct program evaluation and/or research project. Administer and interpret psychological tests and write reports. Participate in: regional, consortium, and departmental training activities and community partnership activities. Maintain confidential patient files/records and information in a timely manner. Comply with regional and local policies and procedures. Comply with APA's Code of Ethics and state laws pertaining to the delivery of mental health services. Other duties as assigned, including team-specific duties. All interns are under the direct supervision of licensed psychologists.
