Our goal with the video interviewing portion of our hiring process is to learn more about your personality and previous work experience.

What You'll Do:

We're so proud of our team and what we've accomplished so far, and can't wait to welcome new world-class talent to the Fattmerchant family. To help expand the team, we're looking for a Director of Sales Development.

You will lead, develop, and manage a team of high-performing SDRs to support the sales team and company in producing qualified leads that will ultimately contribute to Fattmerchant's YoY revenue growth.

You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, and Product teams (as well as other business units) to be accountable for delivering against budgeted revenue and KPI goals. You will be responsible for leading the efforts to drive productivity and efficiency improvement for your team through innovation, new technologies, skill set training and process improvement.

Here, you will have the opportunity to:


  • Develop and implement SDR outreach and engagement strategies that drive monthly, quarterly and yearly growth against company targets
  • Accurately assess the capabilities, motivators, and career goals of each team member and provide ongoing coaching to improve their performance and support their career path
  • Perform regular call reviews, coaching sessions, team trainings, and other activities to drive individual and team performance
  • Hire, develop, coach and manage a strong team of SDRs to meet and exceed sales objectives
  • Participate in team-building and company-growth activities including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts and client care
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Fattmerchant's product, value, competitors, and unified communications and collaboration industry trends

    Requirements

    • University or College Degree with 2-5 years of sales and/or SDR leadership along with direct experience as a sales rep in the SaaS industry; SDR experience is strongly preferred
    • Expert knowledge and experience in building and motivating SDR teams, cold outreach strategies, prospect engagement initiatives, and setting qualified meetings for the sales team to help achieve revenue targets
    • Demonstrated ability to plan daily and weekly activities for an SDR team, monitor performance, measure results, and be able to explain those results effectively to SLT
    • Highly driven, proactive individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency and a belief in Fattmerchant's mission
    • Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful
    • Demonstrated experience as a team-building leader, capable of rallying support from both direct and indirect staff to drive shared positive results
