Job Description Job Description Salary: Lead Preschool Teacher (2025-2026 School Year) Position Start Date: Summer 2025 (training and preparation) Join our dynamic team at Small Wonders Preschool and help inspire the next generation of learners in a nurturing, Christian preschool environment. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering a creative, engaging, and loving learning atmosphere for our students. You will have the opportunity to implement age-appropriate lesson plans, assess student progress, and collaborate closely with parents and colleaguesall while sharing the love of Jesus. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated educator who has a heart for early childhood education. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children during their most formative years. Responsibilities: Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans. Create a fun and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and spiritual growth. Assess and monitor student progress through informal and formal observations and assessments. Foster strong relationships with parents through regular communication and updates on their childs progress. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a positive, supportive work environment. Share Christian values with students and families in line with the mission of the school. Qualifications: A degree in Early Childhood Education or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred. DCF (Department of Children and Families) Certification is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for working with young children and creating a fun, enriching educational experience. Ability to foster a loving, Christian environment for children and families. Additional Information: While the official position begins for the 2025-2026 school year, we are seeking to hire a Lead Preschool Teacher in the summer of 2025 for onboarding, training, and classroom preparation.
