ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language
Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available at an
elementary, middle, and high school setting in Fort Myers, FL. This
contract position offers a manageable caseload and a consistent
40-hour workweek, providing a balanced and rewarding professional
environment. Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy
services under the supervision of a licensed speech-language
pathologist Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for
students in elementary, middle, and high school, including Pre-K
settings Monitor student progress and document treatment outcomes
accurately Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to
support student communication goals Maintain compliance with state
and federal education regulations Qualifications: Active Florida
Department of Education (DOE) certification as an SLPA is required
Experience working within school settings preferred Strong
communication and organizational skills Ability to manage a diverse
