Job Description Job Description Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree, active Physical Therapy Assistant license, and 1 years Physical Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time, school-based Physical Therapist Assistant position is available in Mount Dora, FL, serving Lake County. This role requires an energetic PTA with experience in school settings, comfortable with an itinerant schedule traveling to multiple schoolsincluding elementary, middle, and high schoolswithin the district. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, including 1:1 pediatric care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including PTAs, teachers, and parents Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations Manage caseload efficiently while traveling between school sites Qualifications: Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license Proven experience as a PTA in a school-based environment Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, following the academic calendar and district hours Familiarity with pediatric and school-age populations from elementary through high school Strong communication and organizational skills Location: Mount Dora, FL (Lake County school district) Benefits include a comprehensive package with medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts (FSA/HSA), advisory team support, weekly pay, 401(k), and more.
