Job Description:
The OpportunityWe are seeking a Social Media Manager to work in
a hands-on-role to optimize and execute the strategies for HSN's
social media channels. In this role you will be responsible for the
execution of social cross-platform projects on HSN's owned
properties (TV, Digital & Social Media platforms), including,
social live streams, video series, and vendor management and talent
integrations. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker who has
experience authoring strategy, conceptualizing creative and using
qualitative & quantitative insights to guide their work. A big
ideas person, you are able and eager to brainstorm collectively as
well as individually in an effort to keep social content fresh,
exciting and creative. This role is critical to driving social
media KPIs. Who We AreThe team focuses on developing engaging
social content strategy that supports various brand, commerce, and
social priorities across our social media platforms. Your Impact
Work with the social media team to develop a monthly social media
editorial calendar that communicates the various initiatives,
product launches and other brand messages. Govern & optimize
resource utilization trackers that include all organic Social Media
information; design reports leveraging trackers for senior
leadership Create weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Dashboards to
communicate the success of the channels. Manage integration of
social content on Digital and Broadcast to broaden reach and deepen
customer connections. Collaborate and work cross-functionally with
Digital/TV/Content teams to assist with social efforts that support
larger tentpoles, events and company-wide initiatives. Write and
edit post copy, review and route assets for approval to internal
stakeholders, ensuring all content is aligned with the brand voice
and ladders up to the strategy. Maintain awareness and
understanding of emerging social media platforms and best-in-class
tactics, as well as look for opportunities to innovate. Identify
industry trends, relevant news and other opportunities to increase
HSN's share of voice in the space. Manages social vendor
relationships including onboarding, troubleshooting, touch bases
and updates. Serve as the go-to day-to-day marketing contact for
cross-functional partners on your portfolio of brands. What You
Bring Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business
or equivalent experience. 6+ years' experience managing social
media for a retail brand, Media Company, or entertainment entity.
Experience using social media marketing tools like Sprinklr, Air
table, is strongly preferred Experience maintaining and growing
social audiences across multiple platforms. Self-starter and
creative thinker with astute attention to detail, you are proactive
and able to work on tight deadlines. Well-versed in current and
emerging social platforms, their products and trends. Creative
thinker capable of conceptualizing and presenting big ideas and new
formats. An eye for visual design and ability to articulate the
vision to curate best-in-class social content. A lover of
storytelling with a passion for centering and advancing female
narratives. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
