This position is responsible for greeting and attending to patients in person/phones, coordinating appointments to facilitate the efficient running of the office. To make yourself a top candidate please complete this 5 minute Behavioral Assessment -Recruting (If having trouble with hyperlink, please copy and paste to web browser) Duties may include but are not limited to: Essential duties include providing excellent customer/patient services in person/phones Referring callers to the appropriate departments; making appointments for patients per established protocols; assisting patients/clients with forms Work collaboratively with all care team members in support of direct patient services, exhibiting flexibility and a ---can do--- attitude Serves as a point of contact with other internal and external departments, all with the goal of fostering an environment which promotes patient comfort and trust Timely registration of all patients, which includes obtaining all demographic, financial, identification and insurance documentation Organizes workflow, keeping workspace clean and professional always Adherence to all Front Desk Standards, with an emphasis on achieving all quality measures supportive of the Patient Centered Medical Home model Strict adherence to all Evara Health, HIPAA, HRSA, State, Federal and accreditation agency rules and regulations Demonstrate cash handling skills; ability to accurately and timely balance the daily journal Demonstrates consistent application of outstanding customer service skills Demonstrates ability to navigate and enter data into an electronic health record Handles all patient issues with professionalism and courtesy, appropriately escalating all issues requiring further resolution Additional Telehealth duties may be assigned to include the following: Work with assigned provider supporting Telehealth services to include New Patient appointments Appointment confirmations done 24-48hrs in advance to help facilitate Telehealth services Ensure patients are registered properly preparing them for their Telehealth appointment Be readily available via Microsoft Teams for assigned Telehealth provider Education and Experience: High School Diploma, or equivalent.
