As an Accountant, you will analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for our client. Additional responsibilities include:

• Reconciling the company's bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
• Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company
• Preparing financial statements monthly
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, preparing profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Creating financial projections and operating budgets.
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
• Assists in the maintenance of documentation, journal entries, reconciliations, account analysis, and other procedures.
• Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, required
  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting/finance
  • Experience with general ledger accounting
  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
